Embracing Change: Yoga Classes for Everyone, Everywhere

Manda Jane Yoga classes

Over the years, yoga has become one of the most powerful tools in my life, not because it asks me to do less, but because it allows me to do more.

As someone who enjoys high-intensity training, I've experienced firsthand how yoga supports performance, recovery, mobility, and resilience. It has helped me stay active, recover from setbacks, manage stress, and maintain balance through the demands of work, family, and everyday life.

I believe true wellbeing isn't found by constantly pushing harder. It's found in understanding your body, listening to its signals, and knowing when to strengthen, when to lengthen, and when to rest.

My approach combines yoga, fascia release, mindful movement, and nervous system regulation to help people move better, recover well, and build sustainable strength for life.

Whether you're an athlete, a weekend warrior, a busy professional, a parent, or someone simply wanting to feel better in their body, yoga can offer practical tools to support your physical and mental wellbeing.

No expectations. No competition. Just an opportunity to reconnect with yourself and discover what's possible when your body and mind work together.

How can I help you move, recover, and feel your best?

Vinyasa Yoga

A physical and flowing yoga. Vinyasa is the embodiment of
strength, alignment of asanas, and weaving the practices (mantra, mudra and meditation) through rhythm and breath.

Vinyasa yoga is a physical yoga, helping to bring your body into balance, releasing tension and stiffness so your joints, muscles and ligaments can move more freely with a greater range in movement.

Vinyasa yoga is included in my classes at Holland Park, Beenleigh, Victoria Point and Mount Cotton.

Yin Yoga

Restorative yoga that leaves you renewed. Yin yoga is a
passive and soothing yoga, primarily focusing on floor-based postures - perfect for when all you can do is make it to the mat! Each pose is held in still contemplation, allowing you to breathe and be mindful of your body.

Yin yoga is a deeply nourishing practice, with a slow intention to target joints, connective tissue and fascia to create more space and flexibility. From an energetic perspective, yin yoga aims to release your
fascia and open your meridian lines, allowing chi to flow through your body more freely. Chi is considered the bridge between physical form and pure awareness.  My teaching also shares my wisdom of the five elements and Tibetan Buddhism, from where yin yoga originated.

Yin yoga is included in my classes at Holland Park, Beenleigh, Victoria Point and Mount Cotton.

Meditation & Relaxation

“Meditation is the breeze that comes in when you leave the
window open, but if you deliberately keep it open, deliberately invite it to
come, it will never appear.” J. Krishnamurti

Meditation is one of the key yoga practices that will change
your life - but it’s so much more than lying still and attempting to let thoughts pass you by.

Your mind is never completely still, it is always seeking an
experience. Knowing that meditation is all around you in various spontaneous moments will give you greater awareness of how you can create your own calm and live your best life mindfully.

At Manda Jane Yoga, my meditation practice helps you to find those moments of stillness and allow yourself to be in peace in them, no matter
how fleeting they may be.

Meditation and mindfulness is included in my classes at Holland Park, Beenleigh, Victoria Point and Mount Cotton.

Meet me on the mat

I warmly invite you to join my community yoga events—a space where you can focus on your wellbeing, connect with others, and enjoy a sense of belonging.

Yoga has been a significant part of my life for over twenty years. It has helped me find balance, strength, and clarity, and I am passionate about sharing these benefits with others. My classes are designed to be inclusive and accessible, whether you are new to yoga or have been practising for years. I focus on mindful movement, alignment, and creating an environment where everyone feels welcome and supported.

After each session, we share a catered meal. This is a wonderful opportunity to relax, enjoy nourishing food, and connect with others in the community. I believe that yoga is about more than just physical postures—it’s about kindness, self-care, and building genuine connections.

My teaching draws on my experience in Iyengar and Yin Yoga, and I am committed to ongoing learning and growth. Each class is an opportunity to explore movement, breath, and stillness, and to discover what feels right for your body.

If you are looking for a way to take time out for yourself, improve your wellbeing, and meet like-minded people, I encourage you to come along to my next event. You are welcome to bring a friend or come on your own—either way, you will be part of a supportive and friendly group.

I look forward to seeing you on the mat, and sharing this journey with you.

The Path Inward

Amanda Walters, Qualified Yoga Professional

When I first stepped onto the mat, I was searching for alignment, strength, and a way to release the tension held within my body. What I found was something far deeper.

Through this practice, I began to experience true self-preservation, a steady kind of healing that touched me mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

What I discovered wasn’t a new version of myself…

It was a remembering. A returning.

As my yoga journey deepened, I uncovered the profound way it supported my life, creating space, clarity, and peace, and reconnecting me to something greater than the noise of the everyday. A sense of source. A sense of truth.

This is the journey I’m passionate about sharing with you.

I’m so honoured to be part of your practice — and I look forward to meeting you on the mat.
